OCP, the Official Partner of the 8th edition of Transmarocaine

OCP supports as an Official Partner the 8th edition of Transmarocaine taking place from the 16th to 24th of March between Ouarzazate and Marrakech.

This multi-sports raid combines sporting activities as well as discovering Morocco. It encourages endurance, promotes collective performance, solidarity and surpassing oneself, as many qualities advocated by OCP and its staff.

OCP launches its first network distribution of phosphate products in Brazil

The OCP Group is launching a new business model in Brazil, designed to further enhance the predictable and affordable supply of phosphate based fertilizers to farmers across Brazil. OCP is building on its successful marketing presence in Brazil, through “OCP do Brasil”, by launching “OCP Fertilizantes Ltda”, a first-of-its-kind single nutrient distribution channel in Brazil.

The Islamic Development Bank allocates a 150 million US dollars funding to OCP

OCP S.A and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) signed February 27th, 2013 in Casablanca, a financial agreement of 150 million US dollars. This amount of money allows a partial funding of the extension project, as well as the rehabilitation of port infrastructures exploited by OCP at Jorf Lasfar.

OCP believes in a South-South cooperation

OCP Group organized on February 19th, 2013 in Mumbai, India, the first regional meeting within the Global Food Security Initiative (GFSI). This workshop falls within the Forum of food security held on March 2012 in Rabat. This Forum gathered more than 350 national and international experts. The objective of this meeting was to identify “the best Indian agricultural practices” that contributed to the success of the Green Revolution of this country
